Not my cup of tea.

Friday, September 29th, 2006

What is it you’d prefer? Coffee or tea? (Sorry there wont be any ME here ;)
What is your favourite drink? Mine well Expresso double shot! Anybody?

What do you do if someone serves you the wrong order? Well the best thing to say would be "I’m sorry if its not of any trouble, I’d prefer expresso instead." They would willing ly change the drink for you. That does the trick all the time.

My holiday

Tuesday, September 26th, 2006

During the previous sem studying in UTAR, the thought of having a holiday is like heaven (Especially after the plain Jane study days).  During the studying period  everyone became so tense, sometimes even sulky (grumpy). This is due to the never ending assignments, quizes, tests and presentations. When this comes in chain, everyone, you and me would most probably have sleepless nights and zombie days. Soon after all the hardwork, everything is coming to an end, you are usually tormented by the last but not least; THE FINALS. As usual after the finals comes the result and the supplementary papers. THEN ONLY the holidays.

Sometimes, holidays are even denied or shorten by the supplementary papers or schedule events such as the Industrial Training period. That was a hell of a hectic time. My experience from last year, we had a short sem where many of us attended classes for minimal subjects. Follow by a never ending LONG industrial training period, without any break AND returning late for our course, we started Year 3 Sem 1(just ended). Hell NO!!!! I just finish my Discrete Maths supplementary, didnt even know if the paper is going to survive; then the break begin before we proceed to Year 3 Sem 2. Now of all time, NOW is our holiday break.

Back to the topic again, there were several places visited during the breaks including Penang, Kedah, Cameron, Genting, Melaka, Johore and also Perak. Some were a lone journey, some were journeys stopping at suitable destinations and involve kidnappings of young blood and virgins. Where will I be the coming months? Where should I go? To follow the current or else? The thought of this sems holiday is short-lived. As the merry delights turns into sorrow. Dont ask me why, you know very well, the FYP!!

Seems like my holidays just slips through my fingers and gone to waste…There goes my holiday ;( What a disappointment.

THE WONDERS OF CELLPHONE THAT WE NEVER THOUGHT OF?

THINGS YOU NEVER KNEW YOUR CELLPHONE COULD DO…

There are a few things that can be done in times of grave emergencies. Your mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for survival. Check out the things that you can do with it: -
*EMERGENCY*

*I*

*The Emergency Number worldwide for **Mobile** is 112.*
If you find yourself out of coverage area of your mobile network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. **Try it out.**

*II*

*Subject: Have you locked your keys in the car? Does you car have remote keys?*
This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a   foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other "remote" for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk). Editor’s Note: *It works fine! We tried it out and it unlocked our car over a cell phone!"*

*III*

Subject: Hidden Battery power
Imagine your cell battery is very low, you are expecting an important call and you don’t have a charger. Nokia instrument comes with a reserve battery. To activate, press the keys *3370# Your cell will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your cell next time.

AND

*IV*

How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?
To check your Mobile phone’s serial number, key in the following digits on your phone:
* # 0 6 # A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. When your phone gets stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless. You probably won’t get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can’t use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.

Please spread this useful information around

I cant take it anymore! Can you quit doing it! Stay AWAY from my bed! I desperately need some sleep, and I mean peaceful once. How many days was it again you keep me awake and if you continue doing so, I might fall sick. Just stop it…

1. First day of the week = Some one knock me on my head with a brick
2. Totally no sleep at all
3. Three days ago = Falling off from a high cliff walking at the cliffs stairs-trying to get to somewhere
4. Two days ago = Same old ones gigantic spiders! eerrggg… (along with < 6 hours sleep in 2 days)
5. Today = Snakes in a temple! Those large one followed wherever you run! eewwww!

You known, if you dont quit it soon = I dont get enough rest = I wont be able to be up and about = I’d be damn. Let me have some good rest tonight.

Wait a minute according to the olden days believe if you dream of a snake should get yourself a lottery. Snakes means $$$ ahahaha…

2006 September 20

Today is my grandmothers’ Birthday. My mothers’ mother. Well usually at such time of the year we will be in Johore to celebrate it with her. Unfortunately this recent years since she passed away we didnt have an excuse to go to Johore. At least thats with an excuse we can answer to dad’s questions.

I went to campus today and on my way home from the papers, I was thinking about stars. Since returning from kedah, my opportunity to see stars are like so little. Its been quite some time since I saw those bright ones shining down from the dark sky. To see many stars in the sky especially in KL, rare…

On my way home as usual on the usual route, I miss the the LRT. As there was this man blocking right in front of me. Some how, seems like everything happens for a reason. Today, an old lady came and ask me how to go to this place name cempaka. As there was no map I told her I didnt know and maybe she can try to ask the other people or skip in and if she finds it wrong then change another train near Chan Shao Lin. So upon arrival of my train I skipped in. And looking at the map I realise she skipped in the same train but another session and of course IT WAS THE WRONG TRAIN!. Being the busy body I was, I skipped out of my train and jump into the the front bullet at the next stop to inform her about it. To tell you the truth, I doubted my act at first. Reasons are such as the stupidity and being a busy body or so. But in the end, I never regreted the action. I didnt want to leave with the guilt and the thought of her being lost.

The rest of the day? Well I dont know just yet…

唔惊唔觉又一年了. 10 more minutes and today ends… 时间就这样在我手中悄悄的溜走,感觉上就像永远失去了

You will never read this. You will never hear. But from me, I wish you a very Happy B’thday. Hopefully you will have a very nice and wonderful day today and all the days ahead. Do not fear as I remember today as fresh as if it was today. I will never forget today. I will not forget today.

明年的这一天,有谁是这样的呢? 心还会那么样记得痛吗?  或许幸福都不是属于我的…所以我只能在远远的祝福你, 希望你还是好好的.

With all my love, Happy September 16.

As the most notorious rakehell in Regency London, Lord Damien Sinclair sought only his own pleasure, until his beloved younger sister, Olivia, was injured and his reputation ruined during a forbidden tryst. Now Damien will do anything to destroy the young nobleman guilty of hurting Olivia… And Vanessa Wyndham will protect her foolish brother at all costs, even if it means entering into an illicit bargain with the dangerously handsome "Lord Sin". When Vanessa offers to act as a companion to Lord Sin’s invalid sister, Damien agrees with one scandalous condition — he’ll forgive her brother’s debt if she agrees to become his mistress.

And so the seduction begins. But once the affair has ended, will they escape with their hearts intact?

The title is love

Tuesday, September 12th, 2006

I saw someone quoted this in her nick. Didnt know which famous author it is from so didnt get to quote the person. It sounds something like this:-

"Love is like standing in wet cement, the longer you stay the harder to leave and you can never leave without leaving your mark behind… "

It strikes a chord to me. But didnt know if it does to you. Others? Well you figure it out. I just wanted to share the phrase I personally feel its meaning full. Therefore I cut and past again ;p hehe!

Anyway, an advice from me to myself and I: Keep your distance. yoU do not want to risk breaking your heart and I definitely do not want to risk breaking my neck ;) Keep it safe…

Today September 11 2006

Monday, September 11th, 2006

Didnt sleep very well busy preparing for cultural subject. Tired and restless. Today is a day I’ll definitely remember. I was suppose to have my cultural paper at 9 in the morning today. Of course I was there. But while on my way to the campus good god I got nausea! Feeling sick to my stomach and the inclination to vomit makes it feel a whole lot worst. I took some medication wasnt feeling very well the whole day tho. Lucky I manage to go through the paper without much difficulty. I do not want to make a scene vomiting in the examination hall. Geezes… What a day! What a day!

Lesson Learn: If you want to be sick make sure it is sick till you cant appear for the paper. Else dont think you get to escape hell. Hehe ;p
